This is a Handmade Bhuddist statue of the deity Tara made in Nepal and widely used in Nepal and Tibet for meditation and in shrines for worship. 

It is made of approx 2kg of genuine Brass and measures about 10" tall.

It’s a highly detailed piece, forged from Brass in traditional methods and then detailed by hand by Nepalese metal sculptors.

The statue is of the deity Tara, a personage used in Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism as an aid to meditation. The sitter focuses on the statue as the object of attention. 

You can use it that way too. Or, owing to the fine detail, it can be a collectible piece to be appreciated for its beauty.
