Description

See more pictures below! –

They bid on two humorous manuscripts from Dr. med. Walther Taube, homeopathic doctor in Weißenfels (Saale).

1.) 7-page poem on personal stationery (22.5 x 14.3 cm), each blank on the back. The sheets are held together by a clip (the last sheet is loose).

Dated Weißenfels (Saale), the 19th February 1934.

About a winter trip that was ultimately canceled and the souvenirs that were already provided for it. At the end, drawing of a flag in blue and yellow ("The colors of Weißenfels").

2.) 2-page letter (29.3 x 22.6 cm), dated Wei0enfels (Saale), 30. November 1928.

Illustrated with 5 original photos.

The letter appears to stop at the end of page 2, but ends at the top of page 1 (signed "respectfully Dr. Taube").

With a fictitious address "Mr. Privatdozent for Psychiatry and Forensic Medicine Dr. med. Adamson, currently Hundswürstel Castle, near Steingading (abroad)."

Since the documents come from an estate of Dr. med. Hubert Beisele (1891-1953), doctor in Steingaden, they are certainly addressed to him. Hubert Beisele was a son of the court councilor Dr. Hans Beisele (1859-1911), doctor in Tutzing.

The letter is about the alleged search for an imposter (apparently referring to Beisele himself), an opera singer Knödelton, etc. Everything was written in a very humorous way.

Condition: Poem: Paper browned, with corner creases, last sheet loose. letter folded several times; Paper slightly browned and slightly wrinkled, with small tears in the fold. bplease note also the pictures at the end of the item description!

Internal note: KRST 200520-II
