Up for auction is an original photo / rppc (real photo postcard) that’s postmarked Tombstone, Arizona and dated October 1920. It measures 5.5” x 3.5” and features the interior of the Bird Cage Theater adding to its historical value and rich history.  This real photo postcard was in the Ben Traywick collection.  Ben was an author and Tombstone, AZ town historian for 39 years.  He retired in 2010.

The letter/note on the back is addressed to Miss Edith Korony at Edgewater Camp in New York. The communication is from Lou to Edith and reads as follows:

Dear E,

This is a mining town gold, silver and lead. Not as wild as shown on this picture these days. N. Y. will look tame to me after this experience.

Lou

This rppc is perfect for those who appreciate the history of Tombstone and/or Western Americana and want to own a piece of it.
