Aluminum Oxide is a blasting media that cleans, hones, strips, deburrs, and etches a variety of surfaces, including hard metals, steel, glass, marble, granite, ceramic, and more. Aluminum oxide media is a fast-cutting, long-lasting abrasive that does not react with surfaces and can be recycled many times, making it one of the most economical abrasives available. Blasting applications include grinding, deburring, wet and dry barrel tumbling, polishing hard metals, etching metal and glass, stripping paint, preparing surfaces for coatings, deep cleaning (including discoloration from welding), texture preparation for bonding, welding, and metalizing. Produces a matte, semi-coarse, and coarse finish, depending on grit used. Mix grit sizes for custom finishes.
