Here is a vintage Percival Lafer lounge chair in new aniline black leather. It is the model S-1 or MP-167, circa 1970s. It is a wonderful example of Brazilian Modernism, and is very comfortable as well.
 
This armchair was just reupholstered in new high-quality aniline leather, which is smooth and soft to the touch. This type of leather will age and patina with use by showing marks and other wear, eventually turning into the worn-baseball-glove-style leather chair that we all love. The canvas sling is original and is in good vintage condition. The finish on the frame has some light normal wear but is very presentable. Overall, this is a great looking chair that is very comfortable to sit in, and is ready to enjoy as it is.
 
The original labels are loose but present. This chair’s product number is 69211.
 
This chair measures 31.5” Wide x 31” Deep x 28.5” Tall. The seat height is approximately 16.5”.
