Description:

Peruvian travel account from the golden era of adventure. Filled with multiple evocative black and white photos and striking endpages that illustrate the author's route.  Although this book no longer has its original jacket, it is in very good condition given its age.  At 10 1/4" x 8", this would make a great coffee table book!

This book appears to have been originally published in two bindings: the other (red) and this blue cloth version with black titling. This copy has the black oval colophon that contains a white ‘GHD’ script under the copyright notice, which suggests it is a first edition, but the presence of a "B" at the bottom may suggest it is a second printing.

Dust Jacket Condition: No DJ.

Book Condition: (VG+) Blue cloth boards are straight with sharp corners. Rear panel has vertical light surface crease at middle top that likely dates back to publishers. Pages are white and clean. Frontispiece retains its tissue protector. No writing or damage. Appears to have been lightly read, if at all.

We always ship in a box carefully bubble-wrapped and protected so that it reaches you in exactly the condition in which it left us. Unfortunately, it is not cost-effective to ship in an envelope due to USPS limitations. Questions always welcomed. Thank you.
