Nikon PB-4 Swing/Shift Bellows Focusing Attachment

Up for bids is this superb bellows unit for macrophotography - Nikon's most versatile bellows system.

With this unit you'll be able to take extreme closeups, copy slides and a plethora of other untapped uses.

This is the most versatile of all the Nikon Bellows Focusing Attachments as it features the ability to shift and swing. 

Depth of field can be increased and converging lines corrected for with the swing or shift of the front lens board. It has dual twin tracks. On the lower track, the camera and lens can be moved as a single unit for fine focusing adjustment without changing the lens-to-film distance. 

In addition to this great flexibility, the camera can be attached or detached from the bellows, or turn to a vertical or horizontal format any position on the track.

With a with a 50mm F2 lens mounted, reproduction ratios ranges from 1/1.2 to 3.6X. 

Reverse the lens with a BR2 adapter and reproduction ratios can range from 1.6 to 4.4X

As you can tell from the photographs, this bellows unit is in excellent condition. The bellows are light tight. The unit moves along the rails smoothly and the controls lock the movements solidly in place. The index rails have some light wear. Bellows folds away evenly. 

The box is in fair shape. The manual is in fair shape with soiling and edge wear.
