For sale... Western big leaf, flame / curly guitar body blank. This blank came from a retired builder friend of mine. The blank was originally purchased in the late 90's. The blank even has a date of AUG 15 1994 stamped on the end grain. This blank is dry as a bone and ready to be put to good use. The blank is all heartwood so its going to be slightly darker in color and your usual western flame maple. But it is stunning still.
Measurements of the blank are 20 X 14.125 X 2.03".
The blank weighs 12 LB 10oz
All pictures, except the last two are shown wet with denatured alcohol. The blank is surfaced flat and is dry, 7% moisture content.
