Today we are looking at the: 1993 Bowman Derek Jeter #511 Rookie Card.

FRONT OF THE CARD:

CORNERS:  All 4 corners show softness, fuzz, and the start of top layer separation.

EDGES:  The top edge is smooth with some fuzz; the right edge is a bit rough with some fuzz and 1 spot of top layer chipping. The bottom edge shows a bit rough with fuzz, no chipping seen.  The left edge is smooth with a strand or two of fiber.

SURFACE:  The surface is clean; the ink is clean, and the white border shows a variety of small spots of black and a brown stain just above the brim of the hat.

CENTERING:  left to right= 4-2, top to bottom= 3-3.

BACK OF THE CARD:

Corners: All 4 corners show wear, softness, and layer separation.  Fuzz is present.

Edges:  The top and bottom edges show smooth with a bit of fiber here or there.  The right edge shows a bit rough with some fuzz present.  The left edge shows a hint of roughness with micro fuzz present.

Surface: The surface is smooth with production fiber roughness.  The white border shows little black spots of debris all around the edges with a small very thin red line starting at the B in Bowman running to the right edge abought 1/8 of an inch down from the top.  These little specks are present through the entire back of the card.  Seen through a magnifier.

Centering:  Left to right= 3-3, top to bottom= 3-3.

A Note on Shipping:

Ebay Envelope is a white legal-size envelope #10.  Folded to fit the semi soft card envelope, 1” x 4” x 7". The card is encased in a white semi stiff card envelope, a top loader, and a penny sleeve.

USPS is a 1”x5”x 7” padded brown pouch envelope and the card is encased with a penny sleeve, top loader, and a semi stiff card envelope.
