1972 Press Photo Wally Dallenbach's Eagle-Offy car catches fire in Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana--Flaming pitter--Wally Dallenbach's Eagle-Offy catches on fire for the second time in the pits, after he pulled in on the 89th lap of the Indianapolis 500-Mile race in Indianapolis Saturday. Both fires were caused by a faulty fuel fill hose fitting. Neither fire caused major damage. Auto racing. Photo measures 10 x 7.75 inches. Photo Is dated 1972.
