Hi to all, if you are having any transmission issues, maybe I can help. Here I have another reconditioned, 1939 style, 3-spd. transmission for 1932-1939 Fords.  Is very popular with flathead hot rodders. """"I have changed the rear mount from when pictures were taken."""" This now has the 1937-1939 #78 rear transmission mount, not shown in pictures. This one features closed  drive line. This unit is the 48 case, 68A single detent shifter with 3" fork. What I do is, completely disassemble transmission and shifter, inspect all parts, and clean all parts. I then take the case and shifter to machine shop and clean with engine blaster. The 48 case is then fitted to the 48 style syncronized gears. I then reassemble, replacing bad parts, using new gaskets and seals. I also go through the shifter, clean, check spring tension to make sure okay. Shift lever has been cut off. I then prime unit in black. Then I build a shipping crate to ship in. I have done many of these and workes out well. Email me with any questions or concerns.
