pansypoo needs to purge. i need to purge yarn. i had no idea how much i had. i have been knitting for decades. i have a load of sweaters. because you needed enough for sweaters. one of my 1st yarn shops kessenich's had bargain bins. i have 2 cardigan's. 1 multi cause not enough FOX fur yarn for 1, so 4 color. i went to the eagle river (EAGLE RIVER!) yarn shop + i have lots of leftovers from there. then i found bay shore knitting shop. run by a elderly balkan woman(latvian?) who had to knit 4-5 sweaters a week for the nazi's. i have some awesome stuff from her. but then on a trip to family in TN, i met a woman into Kaffe fasset + i was freed. i started making my quafghans. but i like geometric. i started w/ a cheap green yarns check afghan, then a warm color double triangle. then the pink + orange zigzag for my grandma, but she didn't really use it, aunt gave it back to me + i ebayed it. then i went into the good yarn. i 1st made a circle in squares quafghan. i brought it to the bay view shop + she loved it + she bartered yarn for it, so i got a HUGE pile of yarn there. then i made a better double triangle quafghan. that it when i said, no more neutral yarns. i had gotten a wool LL bean? patchwork sweater at a rummage sale + i can do that! i got all the meh yarn made a BIG sampler/patchwork sweater. i used up maybe a 1/3 of the meh yarn. DAMMIT! so then i made the 5lb sweater. combining 3 to 4 strands for each stripe. yes, i still had some meh yarn. then i made a diamond in square quafghan for my uncle. got super soft navy aussie wool yarn from rhinelander to edge it + grandma the sewer lined it. i made a blue/green/purple waves quafghan for my mom. lastly i started a rainbow pinwheel rainbow for mom + would give the other to my aunt. but i wanted to redo the rainbow, but it sat + i staryed other stuff. oh, + i discovered WEBS when it was by mail + you got 6in threads. yes. i saved them + made a sweater out of them. i gave it to my new danish friend. now i am making big balls of 4 yarns to make arty cardigans. i got a gold cone too, donated it. darn. was gonna mix them, but quafgans. FLY BE FREE. WEBS cast off i guess.
