Signed note from the jurist, Francis Taylor Piggott (1852-1925), Chief Justice of Hong Kong, 1905-1912. Piggott was bankrupt at the end of his appointment in Hong Kong, and sought work in Beijing, but was blackballed there by the British Government.

Minor marks, otherwise very good.
