A very rare belt buckle which I believe is a Michaela Frey design. It is unsigned but I believe these buckles had small sticky labels which can easily detach over the years  Labelled  MF buckles have the identical belt and W German metal work.

The buckle is large oval & enamel with the colours and floral pattern characteristic of Frey.

The metal work of the buckle is stamped W Germany, and signed Gutos ( well known for these fixings ).

The buckle is attached to what looks like the original belt, a heavy navy blue corded fabric.

Belt 80 cm long x 4 cm wide

The belt does not appear to be adjustable

There is some pilling of the fabric on the inside of the belt, in one area where it has rubbed

The buckle has some surface scratches only visible on close inspection. There are a couple of small chips on the underside of the buckle  by the edge and one on the upper edge... close inspection needed to see them
