Lab created stones, also known as cultured stones, are created in a laboratory setting using advanced technologies that mimic the natural processes that occur in the earth's crust. Once the lab ruby crystal has been grown, it can be cut and polished to the desired shape and size, just like a natural ruby. In fact, it can be difficult to tell a lab-grown ruby from a natural one with the naked eye, as the two can have very similar appearances.

One advantage of lab-created rubies is that they can be produced in larger sizes and with greater clarity than natural rubies, which are often mined from the earth and may have impurities or inclusions. Lab-grown rubies can also be produced more sustainably, with less impact on the environment than mining natural rubies.

In addition to their use in jewelry, lab-created rubies have many other applications. For example, they can be used in lasers, as they have properties that make them ideal for focusing light. They are also used in other high-tech devices, such as sensors and semiconductors, due to their unique optical and electrical properties.
