Maker: LS & Co. c.1880's
Model: Key Wind
Condition: This listing is for a Swiss European pocket watch movement assembly with a trademark having "Crossed Swords" with the letters LS over & Co. and it comes to you as found as shown for watch repair parts. The movement is not running but the balance wheel does not have any wobble and the balance cylinder/staff is good. The mainspring is wound tight but the balance wheel and escapement will begin to cycle when light pressure is applied to the center wheel. The porcelain enameled dial has a couple of very light and almost invisible flakes along the edge but no crackes or eye catching damage to the dial. The hands have a bluish purple finish that does have some light loss to the original coloring. The balance wheel is a gold color and could possibly be a solid gold balance but it was not tested so it is not being advertised as having a solid gold balance. I only mention this because they did use gold for balance wheels during this time period. The movement is a gilt finish with the original bright blued finished screws and it still has the blued finish case screw in place. The movement is comparable to an American size 6 pocket watch movement. This is a nice, older movement that shouldn't take too much to get it back in a case and running again.

eBay uses Managed Payments and the only method of payment is PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may check out as a guest on PayPal using your credit or debit card. I will gladly accept the old fashioned method of payment if/when that is your only option however, all other methods will have a delay until cleared.
