This item is a highly popular general purpose 2D barcode scanner by the World leaders, Honeywell. The model is the 4600g, in VERY GOOD lightly used condition, and guaranteed to work perfectly. The scanner is fully tested and working, and is complete with plug and play USB cable. The scanner reads all normal barcodes (UPC,EAN,code 39,code 128 etc...) , plus 2D codes (QR code, Datamatrix etc.) such as the examples in the pictures above. and will read awkward items, small or badly produced codes. The version on offer has enhanced optics featuring 6 LEDs giving improved illumination and faster scanning (see picture)
Plug and Play USB cables are extremely easy to install and the scanner works out of the box without special drivers, software or separate power supply . When a scan occurs the characters from the barcode appear on screen as if they had been typed in, so any application that will accept typed characters will work with this scanner !
