This is a Train Set from the 1960s/70s and includes a massive amount of locomotives, rolling stock, buildings, bridges and track, all in OO gauge.
The set has been previously used but is in good condition considering its age. It is a great addition for collectors of model railways and trains. The set includes a range of Hornby items, including locomotives and coaches, making it a perfect starter set for those new to the hobby, or as an addition to an existing set. The set is perfect for display or for showing in running order. This vintage set is a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Most of it is Hornby, but one locomotive (Cardiff Castle) is a heavy die-cast item with 2 coaches - I think that this is Hornby Wren. Another is a third rail pick-up all-metal small train set from about the same time and runs on its own track but it can be incorporated into a larger train set as a suburban train.
I have owned all of it since the late 1960s, and it has all been packed up neatly since 1980 without being touched. I am unable to vouch that it all works properly, but there is no reason why it shouldn't, this is quality British product.

The controllers are not included because it is probable that they are no longer safe electrically.
