OAK TREES are often planted to Celebrate a Birth, as they symbolise Longevity, Strength, 
Stability, Endurance, Fertility, Honesty, Wisdom, Beauty and Power. 
They certainly are Majestic Tree's and will be enjoyed by many, for many generations to come.
  
Oaks are known to be a haven for a colossal 2,300 wildlife species, providing vital spaces to eat, 
shelter and breed, according to the UK Woodland Trust.  An eco-system and cool micro-climate 
within themselves.

OAKS are a top tree for capturing CO2, with an impressive lifespan of up to 1000 years or more.   

These young tree's are Ideal for BONSAI projects, if cared for accordingly.  

You will receive 2 x Strictly Organically grown White English Oak Tree Saplings.   The saplings will be mostly at stage 4 or beyond
on the growth cycle chart shown above.  Approx 20 to 30cm tall, size and branching is variable as they are natural.

They are very easy to grow and require little to no maintenance once established.

These young trees/saplings are grown from HUGE Acorns (pics show acorn size comparison to standard acorns) giving them the BEST 
possible start in life, the acorns large size offers the young tree maximum nutrition, providing strong robust growth charactoristics 
during the trees early life, this in turn should ensure your further growing success.  

These saplings are Strictly Organically grown in light textured, nutrient rich homemade compost, the light/aerated compost allows for 
their very easy removal prior to posting, preventing any root damage or stress before you receive them.  
The saplings are only removed from their growing pot's the day prior to, or, on the day of posting, again minimising any stress to the 
sapling's. 

Not greenhouse grown, they are fully acclimatised to the UK weather, avoiding possible outdoor transplant shock.

When packed, the bare roots will be kept sealed with added rain-water to prevent possible drying out, ensuring 
only thriving young sapling's when they arrive at your door.  If not planting immediately, please maintain slight moisture to the 
root system, do not let them completely dry out. 

Perfect for planting in display garden borders, the Oaks deep taproot tends not to dry out surrounding borders like many other tree's or 
hedging alternatives do.  NO PLANNING PERMISION REQUIRED TO PLANT AN OAK.
 
The Acorns were gathered then grown on into saplings at the location shown.  The mother tree in the far corner is virtually surrounded by 
compost heaps, this may explain why the acorns produced and used for these saplings were of such a large size compared to most.

The main reason you will receive 2 saplings, other than making them available at an incredibly low price, is to eliminate the chance of a
growing failure.  They are very tough young plants, as the oak is throughout life, failure of any of them is highly unlikely.
Two saplings just gives you a little extra insurance that for whatever your reason for purchasing you are almost guaranteed 
successful results, whether you've got green-fingers or not.
