I usually replace older stapled coin flips with new staple-free flips with no writing as I bring in new collections. In this case, as this penny was part of a large collection where the collector consistently included copious, well written notes on each flip, I have elected to keep them in the flips that they arrived in.   

In 1977, the very first CEC location was opened in San Jose, CA. By December of 1979, there were just 7 CEC locations open for business - Six in California and one in Nevada. 

See variation notes on flip. Showing only minor signs of wear from use and handling consistent with its age. All text are legible. No major issues to note. Overall, in very good condition. You will receive the exact token shown in the photos. Will display well in your collection.
