Custom-made for Bruce Chappell by Tommy Doyle

This beautiful Tommy Doyle hand-crafted semi-hollow-body guitar is finished in Violin Burst with Mother of Pearl inlays, F holes, and two TW Doyle hand-wound coil pickups.

Tommy Doyle designed and built this custom-made instrument after the famous Gibson ES-125 TDC which was a Single Florentine Thinline Cutaway with two Doyle Pickups! 

I could not find any comparables of this beautiful custom-made Tommy Doyle guitar anywhere on the internet, so I contacted Tom Doyle.  This is the response I received back:

Dear Sir -

We're sorry… but there isn't much info that we can provide. That piece was most likely built some 40 years ago. Tom wasn't keeping records at that time and it was all a blur. At the age of 83, Tom is 100% completely retired from that aspect of the business… and cannot be of any assistance. Good luck!
