A rare and in lovely condition steel railway paraffin can from LMS railway.

The original brass plaque reads: Enging dfpt Lancaster Castle Station Longlight oil.

The original brass screw top is also stamped LMS. Bears an original cardboard label reading LMS Engineering Department.

The can is in good condition and measures 50cm high.

Great piece of railway history.
