The puzzle is in overall very good condition. It has three broken knobs that are contained within the puzzle. See image #16 and #17 (marked with a blue arrow). There are approx. 5 other knobs that are intact with slight damage--whether it is a layer of plywood or paper damage. See image #17 (these are marked with a Red Dot). The puzzle lays fairly flat. Markings: Lower Right Corner: Pears Trademark. Clean.
This Puzzle Box is Selfridge Dept. Store Puzzle Box. However, it is not the original puzzle for the box. A partial original label is on the side of the Box, (A Merry Christmas). There is also another hand-written tape label "Skating Party". The puzzle box is in fair/poor condition with seam repairs, age wear, tape, fading, and water stains. (measures 8" x 8" x 3"). NOTE: This puzzle does not have any water damage. There is pencil writing on the underside of the box. Lot # 74.
