This is a vintage linen postcard, postally used and postmarked 1940 with a World's Fair Station Postmark.  Postcard features a view of the Hotel New Yorker, located at  481 Eighth Avenue in New York.  Advertised as the Most Convenient hotel to the New York World's Fair.   Hotel opened in 1930. 

Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases and bent corners.    See pics for details and conditions.
