GILLETTE Gold Plated SLIM ADJUSTABLE 1 - 9 Position Aristocrat Luxe

The Gold Plated version of the Slim Adjustable used in JAMES BOND GOLDFINGER

the 1964 movie Goldfinger, we get a close look at Bond's shaving gear. He uses a Gillette slim handle adjustable razor when he is shaving in Goldfinger's plane on the way to America. In the handle of the razor he has hidden the tracking device. After unscrewing the bottom part of the handle, he takes out the device, activates it and puts it in the hidden part of the heel of his shoe.

The story behind this razor, and the others I have listed, is that my Dad worked for Gillette in the 60s, and was lucky enough to be given many of the new razor models when they were released.

As a result he gathered a little collection which he  kept mostly unused in their boxes.

I will be listing most of his collection in the next few weeks, as well as writing instruments from the same era.
