Up for sale is a very nice first edition, first printing of "Happy Birthday to You!" by Dr. Seuss published by Random House in 1959. This hardcover book is in very condition with no dust jacket.

There is wear on the front cover edges and spine but the pages are free of writing, bright, crisp,  clean and near-pristine. The pictorial cover has wear along edges and spine.  The boards are clean, bright, and in excellent condition. The spine is slitly faded, straight, and the binding is tight.  No loose pages.

The book features the "Other books" title list before the illustrated end sheet and has titles only published prior to 1959.

The book is written in English and has 64 pages. The special attributes of the book include being a first edition with the 6 or 7 dots that appear on the page beginning "Today is your birthday,"

Only two Beginner titles, both Cat in the Hat and "... Comes Back," beginning "Yertle the Turtle," ending "And to Think...." plus all first published prior to 1959. overall, the book is in very good condition.
