For sale... Book matched set of figured box elder maple. Like ambrosia maple, the wild color is caused by insects burrowing into the live tree. So lumber with wormholes is the norm, not the exception.
Measurements of the set are 20.75 X 14 X 0.26" each piece is 7" wide. All pictures, except the last one are shown wet with denatured alcohol. The book matched faces are drum sanded to 120 grit and the back sides are sanded to 80 grit.
