MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Victorinox SwissMemory
Swiss Army knife was introduced in the mid-2000s (also called the SwissBit). It has gone through many variations since then. The first releases came with 64, 128, 256 and 512 megabyte flash drives. Later versions expanded into multiple gigabytes, then switched to a narrower body (two of them will fit into the slot on the original SwissBit).
WARNING: These older, vintage SwissBits are measured in MB megabytes or GB gigabytes. This has one gigabyte (1000MB, or 1/1000 of a terabyte). It's not enough for movies, but sufficient for most backup files or a day's worth of mp3 music.
CONDITION NOTE: New in original, unopened blister package. The bottom was cut open and covered with transparent tape. It appears the store added a RFID security tag to the box. The flash drive stores one gigabyte. Pictures with tools open are from a different knife, just to show what it looks like inside.
The Victorinox SwissMemory/SwissBit knife is 58mm (2¼") long,
17.6mm (.7") wide, and 19mm (3/4") thick. It weighs about 29.6 grams
(1.1 oz) without the flash memory stick, and contains the following tools:
- Medium Blade
- Scissors
- Nail File with Cleaner Tip
- USB Flash Memory Stick
- Key Ring
