Up for bids is this rare 105mm lens designed for use with the Nikon Bellows Focussing Attachments (see my other auctions for PB-4, PB-5 and PB-6 bellows units). There were two versions of the 105mm F mount bellows lenses, this is the first version with lens information engraved on the front of the barrel and including 'Nippon Kogaku'. It comes in its original lens bubble.

The Bellows-Nikkor-P 105mm f/4.0 is designed without a focusing mechanism, instead the bellows unit provides the focussing, allowing you take pictures continuously from infinity to 1.3X with the PB4 or PB-5 (or 1.0X with the PB-3). This is the ideal bellows lens if you're conducting critical reproduction work calling for high magnifications, such as copying documents, maps and pictures or photographing small objects and specimens.

The special design of the bellows lens really shines when used in extreme close focal distance, since standard lenses are not designed for this and optical aberrations can affect their performance

 The lens is in excellent condition with little sign of use. The glass is scratch and fungus free. The mounting ring holds secure. I photographed all sides for you to make your own cosmetic assessment. Lens Bubble is in very good shape with some sticker residue on the bottom.
