This lovely, romantic Weller lamp, has a signed pottery base and a new cellulose shade (please read about these art shades from Jefferson Art Studio in our shop information). The design of the base is Apple Tree, and although I looked up that design, I could not find this particular piece. Hard to tell if this used to be a candelabra that had been electrified at some point.

In 1872, Samuel A. Weller founded Weller Pottery in Fultonham, Ohio, United States. Originally, his business consisted of a small cabin and one beehive kiln, and Weller produced flower pots, bowls, crocks, and vases.[1] By 1905, Weller Pottery was the largest pottery in the country. It mass-produced art pottery until about 1920, and it produced commercial lines until the pottery closed in 1948.

The lamp is 22" high, the Weller base is 13" tall, the shade is about 16" X 5" and the base is about 6" X 6 1/2" across.
