Vintage Quick Ticket Press Wooden Case Stamps Ink Pads Bottle Bell & Nicholson W13

A rare ticket press which appears to have been used in Birmingham. It comes together with various stamps used in the retail sector and other individual stamps with handles. The press has wear and tear, the case hinges being broken, ink stains and some woodworm in the base, which has been treated (without guarantee of eradication). Some of the rubber stamps have detached from their wooden backs.

Please check all photos closely.

The text stamps used with the press read: 'Good Value', As Now Worn', 'Sale Price', 'Bunch', 'Latest Style', 'Hat & Flowers', 'To Clear', Special Price', 'Spray'.

The individual stamps read: 'Works Engineering Fire Service Department', 'Sector 197', 'FIRE WATCHING', 'Representative F. Drew 25 Wood Street 4 Corn Exchange Stratford-On-Avon'. The date stamp with text such as 'Paid' is missing the date digits.
