Description

A very fine quality antique English Victorian solid sterling silver Rococo style tea pot. Circular shaped body with fluted panels from the middle to the top & heavily decorated around the outside with bright cut hand chased foliate decoration. Shaped & decorated border around the top with hinged domed lid & finished with foliate shaped finial on the top. Shaped lifting handle on one side & swan neck pouring spout on the other, both with matching decoration. The pot is raised on a hexagonal shaped pedestal base with decorated border on the bottom edge. Fully hallmarked on the underside of the base.
