We offer a lovely set of four 5¼" tall Orrefors coupe/champagne, cocktail or sherbet glasses in the Prelude pattern first designed in 1957 by Nils Landberg in Sweden, now discontinued. It appears the champagne glasses have never been used, remaining crystal clear with no scratches or chips. None of these coupes retain the Orrefors Sweden sticker; however, I believe the glue on the stickers dried up and just fell off before we "rescued" them at a recent estate sale.

The Prelude stemware collection by Orrefors was first introduced in 1957 and quickly became a best seller. The glasses in this collection are hand-blown with a pattern around the base of the bowl that appears to be like a leaf bursting into life from the stem. The appearance in each glass in this collection underscores Orrefors' reputation for a clean, beautiful design that will not look out of place in a classic or contemporary setting. Orrefors became Kosta Boda in 1976, dating these striking champagne glasses anywhere from 1957 to 1976.
