This is a Sealed Vostok Carrier Rocket Model in 1/144 scale by Apex, kit #ML1001. In 1961 on April 12 at 9 hours 7 Moscow time a three-stage carrier rocket "Vostek" put to the orbit around the Earth with the first spaceman Yuri Gagarin. Gagarin maintained radio and TV link between the Earth and the spaceship. fter one circle around Earth which lasted 1 hour and 48 minutes, the spaceship "Vostok" landed at 10:44. During that time the spacship covered 41000 km on the orbit with apogee of 327.7 km. It's first flight the carrier rocket "vostok" made on January 2,, 1959.
