Tapestry European Sea Side Village Scene Vintage France

This collectible Tapestry is an impressive 31 inches long and 46 inches high.  The lower part of the scene has three people tending their baskets.  There are sailing ships in the background and a couple of men in a rowboat.  Two windmills and cathedral church add to the scene with sea galls flying overhead.     This vintage tapestry has made in France stitched into the edge of the back. 

I have had it packed away for 45 years.  It was acquired at an estate sale before that.  So, it is quite old, but I do not know its actual age.  It is in very good condition.  The colors are good.  There is a small section of a hand stitched reinforcement section on the upper left edge.  This tapestry is impressive!  It displays well.
