What to put on the tag?
We will engrave any details that are requested as long as the details fit the tag 
selected, remember the more text the smaller the font size.  We will message 
you should there be any problems, majority of requests fit no problem

We recommend Name/surname and contact number on 1 side and 
house number and postcode on the other on 2 side tags. Same info
fits on 1 sided tags
Id Chipped, I'm Chipped or Microchipped can be added

Dog identification and the law

All dogs (with some working dog exemptions) are required to wear a dog identity tag or other form of clear identification by law, whether your dog is also Microchipped or not.

The Control of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the owner's name, address and postcode engraved or written on it, or engraved on a dog identity tag. Your telephone number is optional but advisable. Some dog owners also add the dog's name to the dog tag while others feel this is best not done in case your dog is stolen, but the choice on that is entirely up to you.

As long as you make sure you have the legally required information on your dog's ID tag you will be on the right side of the law. You can be fined up to £5,000 if your dog does not wear a dog identification tag or does not have the required information on them.


What to put on the tag?
As a house number and postcode are all that is needed to specify an entire UK address, it is perfectly acceptable to put just that and your surname if the dog tag does not have room for your full address.   I am Chipped,  Id Chipped or Microchipped can also be added.

Most details will fit on our listed tags within reason,  The more text the Smaller the font.

Our Tags are sent same day/next working day via standard Royal Mail Post. (Unless You have selected and paid for another Service) Next (working) Day Delivery.  (See Postage Options)

Please allow up to 7 -10 days Max after the item has been dispatched for it to arrive.  If it hasn't arrived by then get in touch with us straight away via ebay Messaging or See our Seller Contact Details.

Royal Mail are normally very good and on time but please allow that extra time for Delivery.
