Antique Imperial Russ Faberge 1kg Heavy Silver Swan Inkwell c1880-Tsar's Palace

I am pleased to offer from my private collection this absolutely one of a kind antique  Imperial Russ Faberge 1kg heavy solid silver and crystal Swan figurine inkwell c1880.
This unique piece depicting a high relief hand engraved Swan figurine in the center of the inkwell. Swans was one of the most favorite animals of Faberge and he used the swan motives in may of his works of art.(see the last 3 photos).

Hallmarked with the Imperial Russ  silver 84 standart hallmark;with the Assay master initials and the year 1880 and  with Faberge's  hallmark in Cyrillic "FABERGE".
Excellent condition.

The inkwell is 1kg heavy(1000g) ,
28cm long x  20cm width x  15cm high.

The inkwell comes with the original crystal bottles-one for ink and one for ink-blotter powder.
It also comes with a dipping pen.

This amazing item has been in service in Tsar's palace Tsarskoe Selo till 1917 when it was confiscated together with all royal property by the Bolsheviks.
