Mid century Melodynamic 75A Melodium microphone with cable and floor stand

The Melodium Microphone Company was a quality brand based in Paris.

The mic has a classic design with a lower yoke which allows the mic to pivot up and down according to the users needs. The mic has a unique and rarer 3 pin connection which comes out of the mic's head. It comes with the correct long cable.

The mic comes complete with an unmarked period cast iron heavy based floor stand making a perfect platform when the user prefers to stand. The height is adjustable.

A rare find, the Melodium 75A was employed extensively by French broadcasters and was used by many famous entertainers and politicians, including Edith Pilaf and President Charles de Gaulle.

The mic is untested. Visually in good used vintage condition with associated marks and wear and a nice aged patina.
