Sign has wear. Including rust, dents, touchups and other signs of use. Is original and authentic Nor Cal history.
Color appears to be the same as the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. A well respected collector disclosed to me he saw a sign posted on the bridge with the same painted color back posted until 2007. The paint on the back of this stop sign is old and was flaking in areas. I cleaned up some of the loose paint and then scraped off the area to reveal the marking that date the sign as 1941.
For sale on local Craigslist and may be removed at any time.
