Here we have a very rare MK1 Dr Z Remedy amp head.

The amp is in excellent condition and perfect working order. This is the MK1 non master volume version HOWEVER I had a PPIMV put on the rear of the amp so it does now have a master volume (which works great!). See pics.

The work was carried out by Classic Valves Amps around a year or two ago along with a full health check which the amp passed with flying colours.

The remedy also comes with a 20/40 watt switch to get more gain at low levels. This amp EASILY keeps up with a loud drummer on 20 watt mode without breaking a sweat.

The amp sounds very Marshall Plexi in style, which is what Dr Z designed this amp to sound like, and is a great pedal platform.

The amp can have plenty of headroom or break up early depends on how you set it.

With pedals I’ve also had some great heavy metal tones from this amp too!

There is one screw missing from the bottom but it has been like this since I bought the amp and never caused any issue.

These amps are now longer in production and are one of Dr Z’s most sought after models.
