Complete with Japanese leather original fitted ever-ready case which houses the attachable CdS light meter, this SR-1 has been tested and used to shoot both colour and b/w film for a magazine article. The viewfinder is 'as new' - not even any dust specks. The 55mm f/1.8 PF Rokkor with chrome front rim is clean and clear. As far as I could tell when I bought this, the kit had been stored away in a wardrobe for years along with many other cameras owned by a man who sadly became too infirm and housebound to use them. It's a lovely example and comes with its original instruction manual and a 1965 Japanese Cameras small catalogue showing all the Minolta products imported to Britain at the time. There's a lens cap, and also an original 55mm Minolta UV filter of the same date as the camera, boxed, with plastic keeper case and information sheet.

Also included is a manual preset 135mm f/4.5 TC Rokkor, boxed, with its case and hiding in the case lid the matched clamp-on lens hood. Both are in near mint condition, clean and clear glass, excellent cosmeticallty. It also performs really well on film, and when tested on digital 60MP - amazing what we were missing when these simple telephotos were overtaken by often inferior zooms!
