If you are a designer  like me you know how irritating and time consuming it can be by calculating concrete sizes and checking SAP calculations , why invent the wheel twice?!

I have put together over 270 files (330+ MB) which I frequently find useful, these vary from calculations to general arrangement specification notes.  All of the spreadsheets and blocks can be used over and over again - whatever your needs.

This design guide CD-ROM is a must for CAD users, students, and designers, refer back and save time by using impressive, powerful calculations and guides for Architectural, Structural, and Technical drawings, or just for domestic home use to produce and improve your drawings as you desire by a click of a button.

All blocks are compatible with AutoCAD 2008 and earlier versions.   Some are Dxf files, most are drawing files (DWG) - but all are compatible (some files may have been created in AutoCAD 2000 – rending them ‘un-open able’ in earlier versions, this problem may be overcome using ‘volovue’, or another free CAD viewer, Alternatively upgrade to newer version of AutoCAD).  Any queries – Please ask.

All spreadsheets are in EXCEL (Microsoft) format.  These have been created using Microsoft office XP, however they should be compatible with older versions of MS office.  Any queries – Please ask.

All pictures are in JPG or BMP format and can be viewed by any PC running any version of windows.  When viewing these files I find it easiest to use “windows picture and fax viewer”.  This provides quick and easy access and the user is able to scroll between pages using page up and page down.  Also zoom is quick and easy using the scroll button on the mouse.  If you are experiencing difficulties please don’t hesitate to contact me.

All files contained on this CD are filed in an easy to use sub folder directory. Users just browse the folder options and select the e-book/guide/spreadsheet they require. The guides can be copied to the user’s computer for even faster access.

These objects/blocks/guides have been collected over a period of time from actual professional work and have all been used before, however I warn you that software and calculations should only be used for theoretical calculations.  If actual beam sizing, joist dimensions, SAP calcs and the like are needed I can take no responsibility for your actions, I strongly recommend you seek the guidance of a qualified engineer/electrician/mathematician etc.
