"The Municipality of Stiege leaves the Merchant Friedrich Herzberg 7 ½ ▢ Ruthe area at his homestead no. ass 42, the site of the old fire station, for ownership. On the other hand, the merchant Herzberg undertakes to build the fire station at his own expense at the location determined by the municipality of Stiege."

Issued by the District Court of Hasselfelde on 21. March 1861. Present in a certified copy of the District Court dated 22. February 1862, with paper-covered seal and signature "Jürgens".

One follows Copy of a document from the municipality of Stiege dated 20. March 1861; concerning the "government of the new construction sites on the fire district in Unterdorfe"; In addition to the above-mentioned contract with the merchant Herzberg (according to which the new fire station is "next to Rienäcker"), land barter transactions with the carter Philipp Wolf, the handman Friedrich Haubold, the handman Christoph Rienäcker, the farmer Christian Förster and the handman Christoph Wolf are noted .

The Christoph Rienäcker mentioned was certainly related to the entrepreneur and military leader Waldemar Rienäcker (b. 1895 in stairs).
