Description

About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Schecter to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the pickups.  It was tested by factory authorized technicians and no issues were found, the electronics work as designed, the neck is straight with no buzz, and the set up is to factory specs. This guitar was sent to my suppier because of some small finish blemishes.  We were able to polish some of them out, but there are still some very light ones that can be seen if you are holding the guitar with the light at an angle.  No one will ever see them when you are playing.  I have included a couple of pictures pointing to the main areas where there are still tiny blemishes.

Here is what Schecter says about the Omen Elite-7 MS Multi-Scale:

Fierce multi-scale electric with dual humbuckers and thin C neck.

The Schecter Omen Elite-7 Multiscale is sure to turn heads and steal the show with looks that kill and amazing appointments. The 25.5" – 27" multiscale neck is constructed from maple shaped to a thin “C” profile and reinforced with carbon fiber rods for extra stability. Its 16” radius rosewood fingerboard is outfitted with 24 jumbo frets. This is coupled to a mahogany body with a beautiful figured poplar burl top and a neck joint specially contoured to allow easy access to the upper frets. The Omen Elite-7 Multiscale boasts a full range of tonal possibilities, courtesy of a calibrated set of Schecter Heretic-7 humbuckers, master volume and master tone controls and a 5-way pickup lever. Rounding out the Omen Elite is black hardware, Schecter tuners, a Graph Tech Black Tusq Abasi 7-String nut and a Hipshot multiscale fixed bridge.

This guitar weighs 7.3 pounds.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
