For sale a superb rare Kenwood KP-9010 japanese 100V model, the pinnacle of the KENWOOD turntables at the end of the 80s.

This is the direct succesor of the succesful and top player model KP-1100, launched 3 years earlier, in 1985 along with KP-990, which was only a base model.

KP-9010 inherits all the good technological improvements in KP-9010 bringing some minor improvements. I can tell you that comparing with the KP-1100 or KP-990 that I have sold previously I can see at KP-9010 a close to mirror like surface of the plinth (probably more laquer layers than the previous models).

While aestetically they look similar, KP-1100 (and KP-9010 as a direct succesor) had a better SNR (90db vs 85db), a 30% higher torque motor (2kg/cm vs 1.5 kg/cm), improved motor speed stabilization, a better wow and flutter 0.005% vs 0.008% weighting also 800 more grams (14.5kg vs 13.7kg) than KP-990. Aditionally, KP-1100 employed a 3-stage vibration absorbtion making it extremely stable against vibrations.

It will be shipped from Romania (no VAT/import taxes to EU countries). A quality japanese voltage converter 220V-100V (Kashimura) of 35W or more will also be included in the price, so you can use it right away without any other expenses.

The price does not include a cartridge or a headhsell, in the photos/video demo, it was used a AT-120Eb cartridge with a very good needle mounted on a genuine AT headshell, this will be an optional pack of 110 EUR for those interested in it (just write me before ordering to adjust the total price accordingly). Otherwise, all orders will be treated as for only the player and the voltage converter.
