1932 Press Photo Ex-Notre Dame Footballer Marty Brill in His Florist Shop, PA

This is an original press photo. Notre Dame grid hero now a florist - Marty Brill, who used to thrill spectators with spectacular broken field runs while a member of the last Notre Dame team coached by the late Knute Rockne, now "says it with flowers" in the florist shop he has opened at Ardmore, Pennsylvania. The pungent aromas of arnica and liniment have been replaced by the sweet smells of various flora and fauna. He is shown above in the shop.Photo measures 6.25 x 8inches. Photo is dated 11-04-1932.
