'KIDNETS' Patent "Kidney Medicine" by Kemp & Lane circa 1910
-Box, Bottle & Contents  Intact
1906 to 1918

A very clean example of this turn of the last century patent medicine with a full bottle of pills, apparently. I didn't count them. The whole package is amazingly undamaged with a very clean label. The box has initials written in pencil.
The ingredients list 'Venice Turpentine'. I learned that it will make your urine smell like violets. I mean I read that.
This was sold after the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 so it includes ingredients.

Being sold as a collectible, not intended  to be used as medicine. You already knew that.

We recently purchased a collection of vintage & antique patent medicines, many of them in the same condition as this example, so check out our store for more!
