Up for sale is a unique set of three antique ((1920s-30s) mini etched silver ashtrays, each oval in shape and measuring 2.75" L. These ashtrays are beautifully-designed with intricate repousse details that showcase their Dutch origin. Each repousse 835 design features three men sitting at a table at a tavern. The slightly-deep sides have vertical etched lines and scrolls, and the top of the sides feature more-intricate scrolls. There is a flat cigarette holder on the right side of each ashtray. Due to age and usage, two of these look more gold, but all they need is a good polishing, and I think the variations show character. These are marked on the underside of the cigarette holder, and although it's a bit difficult to decider, they say "835", and I have confirmed this with extensive research, as well. They are all the same design and size — 2.75" L x approximately 2" W x 1/4" H. Handmade with care, they are sure to add a touch of vintage charm to any ashtray or antiques collection.
