Prominent Soviet lens Helios-44 58mm f2 with an M39 SLR screw mount, based on the famous Biotar 58mm.
It can be used with M39 to M42 step up ring and M42 adapters but not with M39 adapters for rangefinder cameras.
The early KMZ version.
The lenses from this factory are considered to be the sharpest in comparison to the more later MMZ lenses.
The lens is in good working condition with visible signs of use on the body (see photos for details). The optics are clear, without haze, fungus etc. Some usual for old lenses dust inside, and tiny cleaning marks on the glass that can not critically affect image quality. The focusing is working well. The body has signs of age and use. The aperture blades are free of oil.
Comes with a cap.
I tested this Helios-44 lens with a Canon DSLR camera and it worked as should.
The lens fits modern cameras using a special adapter.
