Up for auction is a rare vintage Japan Kasuga KC-5050 Boombox. This pitcular model seems to be pretty hard to find. I couldn't find any history on Worthpoint for it. Even with a Google search I couldn't find much. This boombox does work but it's going to need to be serviced and cleaned and some mild restoration. The volume top silver cap is missing. Also the bar guard under the tape leavers has been damaged on the right side. See pictures. Also part of the attenna is missing. See pictures. Lower portion is sitting in the box. Tape player does work on play, fast forward and reverse. Pause button doesn't seem to work. Record button doesn't seem to be working either. The left speaker didn't seem to work right with the tape player but seemed ok on FM. Controls have alot of static. I believe cleaning of the control pots will fix a lot of that. It has various scratches chips or cracks.  See pictures for overall condition. I don't have the original 120V plug for this. I tested it with batteries. The battery terminals are clean.
